By far the funniest transition timelines are the ones from trans men where the “before” picture is some teeny little guy with sad baby seal eyes and the “after” picture looks like Kratos

This is one of the top posts in r/transtimelines and it really sums up what I’m talking about

My irl saw this post and sent me this even crazier transformation today! The little guy to Kratos pipeline is real!!!

Part 20!

Is this a dream? Is this Leo’s subconscious? Is it a magical limbo for lost souls? Don’t ask me, it could be all of them at once.

Part 1

the key to understanding kermit is that line from the original muppet series where lesley anne warren is like “i thought you were the only person here who wasn’t crazy” and kermits like “me not crazy? i hired the others” that guy loves chaos. he loves crazy shit, and he loves being the guy who has to handle the crazy shit. he deliberately creates these circumstances! he puts himself in these positions! and then he’s like “i cant believe youre making me do this.” anyway that frog is more human than any of us

classic behaviour for the manager of a community theatre company.

you would think. when a cat goes somewhere. that leaves them stuck and unable to get down. without human (read: my) assistance. and so they go meowmeowmeowmeow until i rescue them. they would learn their lesson. and not jump back up there again. especially not 8+ more times

This tweet is just… Odd. Very odd.

Should characters drink alcohol in a novel? I am fine with writing characters having a glass of wine on a holiday or a beer while watching a game, but for some reason, I always stop before writing more than that. How does the #WritingCommnunity feel about alcohol in print? — Katie Ocasek 💙💛 (@KatieOcasek) May 18, 2023ALT

Like… You live like this? You write like this? You think like this??

I want to be absolutely clear that, when I write an alcoholic character, it’s because I think that alcohol addiction and drinking to excess are cool. Just like when I write a criminal, I’m trying to persuade you, the reader, to take up a life of larceny and murder. Just so long as that’s understood.

Oh good, because that’s 100% the message I take from fictional media. For instance, I watched Hannibal for recipes and relationship advice.
